South America | Peru | Southern Peru | Puno | Lake Titicaca | Uros and Amantani Islands – Jaun and Olgas house
Where the hell did a local lady get a name like Olga living on some obscure island in the middle of Lake Titcaca, just short of the Bolivian border???? The answere is I could´nt tell you. Being the guest in someones house felt a little strange at first but they were so welcoming, so friendly. Many of my fellow travelers did´nt realize that they would be spending the night with the locals and did´nt seem to know how to cope. My roomate, an American who I was selected to stay with due to us both having come from the same country, annouced his arrival by throwing up all over the place while trying to get down the steps to the outhouse. I brought him a bucket.
