Europe | Norway | Oppland and Hedmark | Lillehammer – Back in Norway
I arrived safe and sound on Gardermoen the 29th, a Thursday night. Mom and Kevin came to pick me up and it was great seeing them again. De hadde plukka hvitveis! Kevin had grown a lot since I last saw him more then 8 months ago…
After a lot of bussing around in Peru, flying KLM home felt like luxury; there was really good vegetarian food, toilets (and they were clean, and could be flushed, and there was soap and warm water to wash your hands with!), a good film, no smelly people eating grilled chicken, not more passengers then seats, and aircondition that worked. And I was really happy not to get sick from flying, not even when landing.
So I’m at my mom’s. It’s Monday and I have the house to myself. I’ve just been out to mail my visa application to Vietnam’s Embassy in Denmark and taken care of some other things that had to be done in Norway. And now, finally, I’ll take the time to write about all the things I did in Peru since mid January which is the last time I put out a new page. I feel a bit bad about not having written more. It’s just that so much happened, and I didn’t spend that much time on the internet because more volunteers came to Kusi Warma that also used the computer in the evenings and also because I spent so much time with my boyfriend. And of course because I was out of Lima a good deal. Excuses, excuses…
I won’t write everything I plan to write today, but I’ll have it done before I leave for VietNam. I’ve reserved a ticket on June 2nd, but I want to get my visa before buying anything so my departure date might change – I’ll let you know when I leave as soon as I know!
Yesterday I was in my cousin Andreas’ confirmation in Sandefjord. That was really nice and the cakes were really good. Driving down I saw a couple of snow patches left by the road..
But besides that there are no news from Norway. My brother will be confirmed this Saturday, so that leaves me four days to find a present and iron tablecloths.
I’ll probably be in Oslo from mid May, and I hope to see lots of you then!!!
