Europe | France | Rhone Valley and Provence | Aix En Provence – Provence, France
Francoise was kind enough to spend the day with me driving through the mountains of Provence. The gorges and valleys are incredible, boasting beautiful vistas. Stone villages are perched above scraggy ledges and hilltops. We enjoyed my favorite french lunch: cheese, salami, bread, fresh fruit, and water sitting on a ledge overlooking Provence. We spent the latter part of the afternoon walking in Antibes, enjoying a cafe au lait in a beautiful square.
Although I am enjoying Provence, I am feeling weary of traveling. I am starting to want to be home, in my own bed, not packing and unpacking every few days. I am looking forward to parking myself in Paris for several weeks and catching my breath. This travel business is hard work!
