Caribbean Islands | Trinidad and Tobago | Trinidad – Columbus Bay
At the end of the south west of the island. Past Cedros close to Icacos. Didn’t know Cedros is an official point of entry from Venezuela.
Anyway it was low tide so it was almost like a mud flat. Very nice, low waves good beach for kids. Venezuela looms in the distance. Actually from that point you are closer to Venezuela than the Capital. People look more spanish.
So anyway since it was low tide we were able to pass through an arch and literally walk on a beach outside of the island. We did this for a while, with the huge sand stone cliffs above us. Georgeous.
Then we walked back because there were no other entry ways from the beach through the cliff.
Too bad there don’t seem to be any guesthouses in the area, closest I saw was Point Fortin but there might have been one closer. I didn’t ask around.
